Having retired, Scott Rieger took up his brushes again to find peace, purpose and perspective in
Temecula, where he relocated from San Diego in 2020. He is a member of the Temecula Valley Art
League, participates in the annual Ralph Love Pleinn Air contest and attended workshops at The Green Art House in Fallbrook. Scott owes his love of art to
Dorothy Dobbins, his high school art teacher in Cincinnati, and to I-Hsiung Ju, former artist-in-residence
and professor at Washington and Lee University, with whom he studied.
